Waller & Associates Join the EPA's Green Power Partnership Program

ATLANTA, GA – Warehousing and distribution consulting services provider, Waller & Associates, LLC. today announced it has joined the EPA’s Green Power Partnership Program.
The Green Power Partnership is a voluntary program that encourages organizations to buy green power as a way to reduce the environmental impacts associated with purchased electricity use. The Partnership currently has hundreds of Partner organizations voluntarily purchasing billions of kilowatt-hours of green power annually.
“In the case of most of our clients, the supply chain represents 75% of the firm’s total carbon footprint, ” said Jeff Waller, President at Waller & Associates. “Since we advise our clients on Green Supply Chain practices, we took it upon ourselves to invest in clean electricity solutions, such as Georgia Green Power EMC’s Renewable Energy Program which utilizes ‘green’ resources consisting of biomass, solar, wind, and water to generate electricity and offset the impact that our offices have on the environment. Currently 20% of our electricity comes from clean, wind technology.”
